Southwestern International Association of Fire Chiefs

Established over 150 years ago, a division within the International Association of Fire Chiefs, the Southwestern International Association of Fire Chiefs, a non-profit organization representing fire officers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico, constitutes one thousand fire departments. The organization provides an environment where educational and leadership opportunities are accessible for volunteer chiefs, chief officers, and managers of emergency services. It serves the community through informational educational programs and plays an essential role in representing fire chiefs in fire departments within the Southwest region.
