Wayland Brooks

Wayland Brooks (January 12, 1897–1957) was an American businessman and politician who served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1940 to 1949. A Republican from Illinois, Brooks was known for his commitment to economic and fiscal policies that supported both business interests and public welfare. He also advocated for the development of infrastructure projects, particularly in transportation, to boost regional economies.
