Adam Fredrick Zurner

Adam Fredrick Zurner was a German cartographer and engraver dedicated to portraying Germany and the rest of the world on maps. He served as the royal commissioner for lands and boundaries of the Electorate of Saxony, producing more than 900 maps. His work is relatively unknown, appearing primarily in other publishers' atlases, such as Atlas Contractus. His skills in cartography were part of a larger movement to map the world during the European Enlightenment in the 17th and 18th Centuries.
