Girl Scouts of the United States of America

The girl scouts formed in 1912 in Savannah, Georgia by Juliette Gordon Low. The organization has since spread across the country and is still operating today, as of 2024. The Girl Scouts mission is to build up girls of a variety of backgrounds by giving them skills and confidence in a variety of areas. They are most well-known for their annual cookie sales that are conducted by each troop every year.
