William Farnum

William Farnum was an American actor. He was a star of American silent cinema, and he became one of the highest-paid actors during this time. Farnum skyrocketed to stardom in his first film, the 1914 silent production of The Spoilers. During the 1925 filming of A Man Who Fights Alone, Farnum was seriously injured during a stunt and was unable to continue playing leading roles and was relegated to bit parts, sometimes in remakes of films in which he had earlier starred.
