Carmelita Geraghty was an American silent-film actress and painter. Geraghty’s film credits include The Pleasure Garden (1925), the first film directed by Alfred Hitchcock, and The Great Gatsby (1926). She retired from film with the age of sound films and became an accomplished painter.
