Walter von Guntenborn 1930 Switzerland; lives Arizona
Swiss artist Walter von Gunten learned about paper cutting by studying 17th century cutouts in books. Born in 1930, he first started experimenting with paper cutouts in his early twenties. In 1961, he moved to the United States living in Oshkosh, Wisconsin before moving to Arizona. His work has been exhibited in the United States and Europe.
