Delores Aragon

An Acoma potter born in 1969, Delores Aragon is the granddaughter of noted potter Delores Sanchez and the daughter of Marie Juanico. She began making clay animal figures at age 5 and learned by watching her grandmother and mother working. She is known for her traditional polychrome and fineline ollas, jars, bowls and animal figures. She is particularly well known for her miniatures.
