Nicolas de Fer (1646 - 1720) was a French cartographer, engraver, and publisher. He became the official cartographer to Louis, the Dauphin of France in 1690, and with further support became the official cartographer for Philip V and Louis XIV, the Spanish and French Kings respectively.
