DescriptionMovie lobby cards mixed movie art with pictures of actors. This offset lithograph is created in a horizontal format featuring an animated bomber plane, characters, and the title of the film all along the card. The lower right corner displays a photo op of the real life cast of the movie in light pink and white. The filming location was mainly at Kirtland Airforce Base where the first bomber training program was created. Alongside the national laboratories of Los Alamos and Sandia, Kirtland Airforce became a place in which nuclear and nonnuclear explosives were to be transported and used as violent mechanisms of warfare. This movie placed in New Mexico and during war time shows the proliferation of propaganda during this time period. On View
