DescriptionJunior Grand Champion Steer purchased by Arthur Prager of the Public Service Company. The steer was raised by Roger Harrell of McAlister, New Mexico. Prager purchased the steer at the Junior Livestock Sale and paid $1.60 per pound. The steer weighed 954 pounds, so Prager bought the steer from Harrell for $1526.40. Prager stands behind the steer in an outdoor show ring. The prize ribbon is attached to the cow's harness. The livestock barn is visible in the background.On View
