DescriptionThis map details the many routes the Harveycar Motor Cruises took through the Southwest. The map traces the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway plus the north-south alignment of Route 66 from Santa Fe to Albuquerque but includes the major towns, cities, and scenic sites in New Mexico, west Texas, southern Colorado and Utah, and Arizona. Landmarks such as Carlsbad Caves, Bell Ranch, Grand Canyon, and Rainbow Bridge are marked with accompanying color illustrations. There are also illustrations of horses and their riders, skulls, and Indigenous people and symbols scattered through the map. The Navajo Nation, Mescalero Indian Reservation, and other Indigenous communities are marked on the map.On View
