DescriptionA boy straddles a downed tree trunk and fishes in the shallow water of a river at teh Paliza Campground in Santa Fe National Forest in New Mexico. His pant legs are rolled up and he is barefoot. His fishing pole is a tree branch with a line attached. There is a hat resting on the tree behind him.
A caption on the back of the photograph reads, "The world does change, but boys always like to go barefoot and try their luck with branch and string at a shady fishing pool. This lucky youngster is fishing Paliza Creek, not far from Jemez Indian Pueblo, in the Santa Fe National Forest."
