DescriptionA boy straddles a downed tree trunk and fishes in the shallow water of a river at teh Paliza Campground in Santa Fe National Forest in New Mexico. His pant legs are rolled up and he is barefoot. His fishing pole is a tree branch with a line attached. There is a hat resting on the tree behind him.A caption on the back of the photograph reads, "The world does change, but boys always like to go barefoot and try their luck with branch and string at a shady fishing pool. This lucky youngster is fishing Paliza Creek, not far from Jemez Indian Pueblo, in the Santa Fe National Forest."
