DescriptionThese steel studs were made for the main entry doors of the Alvarado Hotel in the early 20th century. The Alvarado Hotel situated next to Albuquerque's railroad stop was a frequent stop for visitors until it was demolished in 1970. They are designed as beveled squares with thin metal pins below for hammering into wooden doors. There is slight embossing on the surface for a raised design of four lines coming from each corner to the center.On View
