DescriptionMen refuel Frank Hawks' Travel Air Mystery Ship, registration number NR 1313, as it is parked in front of the Transcontinental Air Transport terminal at the Albuquerque Airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Other men are standing to the rear of the plane and some are top of a Texaco fuel truck parked in front of the aircraft. Frank Hawks is in the cockpit of the airplane. Handwriting on the border of the photograph reads, "Frank Hawks; Mystery-S".
Handwriting on the back of the photograph reads, "Frank Hawks's Travel Air Mystery Ship 11/20/31 Log." James Oxnard is the photographer.
