DescriptionA tin grater, metraca, or rasp. Previously listed as a Penitente tin noise maker or rasp. The resonating chamber has a series of punched dots on 3/4 of the surface; the handle is a single piece of flat stock that was folded over at the ends, shaped into a handle, and soldered to the seam. There is a small hole on each end.
