DescriptionThis silver flute is broken into pieces (mouthpiece, foot, and flute body) and lays flat within a black, rectangular case. The instrument case has silver latches on either side, and the interior is vibrant green velvet. Widely used by professionals and non-professionals, the flute gained significant notoriety during the nineteenth century due to its accessibility, affordability, and transportability.
