DescriptionFour high wing planes parked on the field of Albuquerque Airport in Albuquerque, New Mexico. From left to right the planes are a Fleet, Travelaire, Butler Blackhawk, and Ryan. The last plane has "Albuquerque Airport" printed on the side. Verne Pfeiffer stands on top of the Fleet plane, Frank Speakman stands on the ground and watches Pfeiffer. Alper Maish stands in front of the Travelaire with his hand on the propeller, and Dorris (Red) Johnson stands on top of the Butler Blackhawk airplane. The Sandia Mountains are in the distance. Four men stand beside or on the aircraft. A radio tower is in the background with the rotating aircraft beacon and weather recording gear. Handwriting on the back reads, "Verne Pfeiffer on Fleet, Frank Speakman, Manager, Alper Maish and Dorris (Red) Johson (Johnson) 1929."
