The lid is propped open with a cross-shaped wood brace which is bolted to the interior sides of the box. The bottom of the box is filled with numerous wine corks of various shapes, sizes, and markings. A wooden red ladder extends outwards from the box's opening. The ladder widens towards the top and has five round rungs which are located towards the center of the ladder.
