DescriptionThis image depicts the interior of the barber shop at the Hilton Hotel at Second Street and Copper Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On the left side of the frame two young men are sitting on barber chairs getting their hair cut by barbers who are standing near the chairs. Each barber has in his hands a comb and a pair of scissors. On the right side of the frame is a coat rack, with a fedora and several coats on it, and a man getting his shoes shined. The man in the chair is wearing dark colored sunglasses and a fedora while the man in front of him shining his shoes is wearing a light-colored uniform. A single wood and glass door can be seen on the back wall of the room. Hilton Hotel manager Fletcher Brumit can be seen walking through the door.On View
