DescriptionThis image depicts a Tuberculosis patient undergoing Heliotherapy on the grounds of Presbyterian Sanatorium in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The man is sitting on a reclining lawn chair and is nearly completely covered in heavy blankets. Only his head is uncovered by the blankets but is wrapped in a light-colored gauze. He is smiling. The chair is on a section of flat ground. In the background several small trees and several buildings with pointed roofs can be seen.
