DescriptionThis image depicts a large line of soldiers attempting to put on gas masks during a gas attack drill at the Air Depot Training Center (later Sandia Base) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The men are standing on a dirt road and simulating the safety measures of putting on their gas masks. They are taking off their helmets and are bent double. One man stands near the right of the frame, off the road, in the background and monitors the drill. Behind the line of soldiers is a line of large unidentified military vehicles.On View
