DescriptionMausard's Mills, located at East Fruit Avenue and the railroad tracks in Albuquerque, New Mexico. An employee stands in the opened door at the back of the warehouse. The towering three-story brick building has a large metal smoke stack that extends into the sky above the mill. Train tracks run to the rear of the warehouse where a train car is parked reading, "Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 9292." The employee wears a cap, trousers, jacket, and has a styled mustache. He holds a shovel in the right hand and leans on it. A large pile of dirt stands next to the warehouse, contained by a slumped wood slated box-like fence. A picket fence stands behind the mill, with a small home on the other side of it. Mesas can be seen in the distance.

Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
