DescriptionWedding portrait of an unidentified bride and groom and their wedding party at the Cobb Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The groom sits on the left and the bride sits at the right, both wear white gloves. The groom has a boutonniere on his dark, checkered, single-breasted suit jacket with matching trousers. His hair is shaved on the sides, with his top hair long and combed back. He wears a white bow tie and starched separable collar. The bride has a beaded headpiece with a veil. She is holding a floral bouquet in her lap with the stems wrapped in ribbons which have bundles of flowers tied to the ribbon's ends, carefully arranged to hang over her knee. The bodice is decorated with layers of satin and sequence trimming. She wears a metal medallion on a chain, circular wire glasses, and pearl earrings. There is a cushion under her feet. A man, two woman, and two children stand behind and to the side of the couple, also in white gowns, checkered suits, and holding flowers.
Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
