DescriptionFive adults and children stand in a line near a wooden ladder leading to the upper level of an adobe home on a Pueblo in New Mexico. There are donkeys standing to the left of the ladder and three children stacked on the ladder's rungs, and one on the roof behind the ladder. Pots are stacked on the rooftops and corn shucks are covering the ground.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss. The bottom left of the glass is broken.
