DescriptionA fenced in dirt lot houses cows and calves in the Rio Grande Valley in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Barbed wire spans between tree branch posts. A small shelter made of wooden planks stands in the cow yard behind the fence as well. In the distance, facing east, foothills rise out of the foreground, ascending into the Sandia Mountain along the horizon.

Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
