DescriptionAn exterior view of the Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe Railway's abandoned fire station at the Rail Yards, on Second Street Southwest, Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the Barelas neighborhood. The two-story building is composed of orange and tan stones and has a rusting red iron staircase zig-zagging up the front. There is a tower at the right and many of the windows are boarded up. The window frames and boards are painted in a bright turquoise color, now fading and chipping. A chain linked fence with barbed wire surrounds the building at a diagonal angle from the front of the building.
