DescriptionMarian Nixon, an early cinema actress, stands outside at the Alvarado train station in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A train car on tracks is behind her and an adolescent boy stands beside her. She wears a dark dress with a floral design down the center and at the bottom. The dress has a light colored, rounded collar and ballooning wrists. Her hair is finger curled and pinned back. She looks down at the boy beside her and talks to him. He wears a striped tie, button down shirt with his sleeves rolled up, and jeans. His hair is parted at the center and slicked back. He holds a newspaper in his right hand and something else in his left.
