DescriptionThere is a large group of men and a few women who are side-facing and back-facing in the central frame. Most of them are wearing hats and the men have suitcases. They are standing line in front of two buses. The buses are in the right of the frame. There is a man hauling a large trunk in the foreground. In the right of the frame, behind the buses are the tops of mature trees. In background of the frame there is a building with a large Charles Ilfeld Co. sign across the front. Handwriting on the back of the photograph reads, "Vocational Dept of A.P.S. 23 men trained in essential Defense Work boarding bus for work in Pacific Coast aircraft factories and shipyards.
