DescriptionThe intersection of Broadway Boulevard and Central Avenue in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Humane Alliance Fountain, also called the Ensign Fountain, is in the center of the intersection. The streets are unpaved and there are horse-drawn wooden carts waiting near the paved sidewalks near the brick, multi-story Occidental Building at the corner. Cars are parked along the street in the background. There are utility poles along the left side of the street and a power line installed overhead. There are other brick buildings lining the street on the left side. The fountain is a tiered granite stone fountain with a large bowl for horses to drink and lower bowls for smaller animals to drink. On View
