DescriptionThis TEXACO black metal coin bank, shaped like a 1932 Ford emergency response ambulance car, features silver headlights, a front bumper, and red cross symbols on either side, near the doors. Either side also features a smaller red cross symbol with the words "Mobile" and "Disaster Unit" surrounding the emblem in white lettering. The top roof of the vehicle includes a small coin slot, while the bottom of the bank displays the automobile's inner mechanical components. Created by the Ertl Company, currently known globally for their contribution to toy manufacturing, has paved the way for realistic, die-cast metal replicas, especially in historically licensed collectibles. The company symbolized the resilience of manufacturing development post-WWII, solidifying American artisanship through preserving historical agricultural technology. On View
