DescriptionThis object is a white transferware plate with an image from A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard Winnie the Pooh. The center of the plate depicts a colored image of Winnie the Pooh floating up to a tree hollow by holding a balloon and trying to obtain honey. Pooh smiles as bees fly around him. Red text below the drawing reads: "THE BEES SUSPECT SOMETHING!" Black text underneath reads: "from Winnie-the-Pooh / © MCMLXV WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS." The object is in good condition aside from some minor discoloration visible near the edge.
