DescriptionThis rounded container and lid originate from an Ivorene makeup set, similar to cosmetic sets popular during the late nineteenth and into the early twentieth centuries. The container is a shortened cream colored cylindrical form. The lid lies flat while incorporating a decorative scalloped edge. A black border frames the perimeter, with a corner decorated with a blue flower and green leaves on one side. Another, slightly smaller container accompanies the set, appearing to be constructed of glass or plastic, and possibly incorporated inside the larger container.On View
