DescriptionThis simple yet effective woodworking tool is a rabbet plane, designed for cutting square-edged recesses along the edge of boards. Body of the plane is rectangular and crafted entirely from hardwood with a single steel cutting iron set at a skewed angle, the blade is also visible through a hollowed section in the base through which the blades can be swapped out. The tool lacks a fence or depth stop, indicating it was used for hand-controlled or free-form joinery work.On View
