DescriptionThis object is a metal soap saver, which stores soap in a manner that allows it to dry more evenly, keeping it from dissolving or melting for a longer period of time. The object consists of a looped metal wire handle that converges in a twisting pattern before joining with the soap holder. The handle is affixed to one rectangular metal mesh tray which has a hinge on top that connects to another. The upper tray can be rotated downwards over a bar of soap and locked in place with a small wire lever located just above the twisted segment of the handle. Object is slightly rusted especially near the upper hinge but is in otherwise good condition.
