DescriptionThis object is a steel scalpel handle with no scalpel blade attached. The tip is comprised of a narrow, elevated strip of metal where scalpel blades can be inserted and removed just above a slightly widened base in the middle of the arm to help hold the blade in place. The arm slightly tapers before joining with the handle. "BARD-PARKER" is stamped on one side of the handle, while "MADE IN THE USA" is stamped on the inverse. A "7" is stamped at the base of the handle to indicate size of compatible scalpel blades. Moderate levels of corrosion are visible across the object, especially on the handle and around the tip.On View
