DescriptionTwo men standing in field surrounded by other marchers and in the distance the back of a billboard along the road. The figure to the left, Bobby Simmons, a member of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee holds a United States Flag on a white pole. Across his forehead he wrote the word "VOTE" in white sunscreen. At the time, Simmons was not yet of voting age, but proudly expressed one of the major goals of the march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, March 21-25, 1965.
