DescriptionNahua mask, possibly from Iguala, Guerrero, with a green parrot (perico) or dove (paloma) atop a red face with black eyes and chin. The bird's wings are spread above the eyes, and the head is pointed upward at the forehead with the tail toward the mouth. Teeth are exposed.
