DescriptionThis hand-painted ceramic salt and pepper shaker encompasses a cylindrical form throughout, composed of a hexagonal base. The upper portion of the shaker includes a multi-sided top, with one side slightly protruding outwards, while the other also slightly protrudes, showcasing a series of holes for salt and pepper dispersal. The multi-paneled body of the shaker, along with the upward-facing surface of the top, depicts repeating illustrations of multi-colored flowers of various shapes and sizes, connected to green leaves with pointed edges and dark branches. The underside of the shaker showcases two holes with dark coverings, perhaps where the salt and pepper would be refilled. Below the adjacent holes is a small emblem of two criss-crossing wreaths of leaves, followed by the words "Hand Painted / Japan" underneath in capital lettering.
