DescriptionA sculpture depicting a tin skeleton inside a vibrantly colored plastic box. The skeleton wears tin cowboy boots and stands with one foot on a short, lime green platform with their arms spread apart, touching the sides of the box. The spots where the skeleton touches are marked with yellow circles. Behind the skeleton, on the back wall of the box, is a purple toy car on a gold pedestal and two bouquets of faux flowers in tin holders. The interior of the box features a bright green lower half, a variety of geometric shapes filled with gradients in the top half, and squiggle shapes both debossed into the surface and floating above it as colorful wires. The sides of the opening feature spiral-shaped brown pillars topped with tin decorative elements including crosses and forms resembling fire. The top of the box features ceiling beams carved into rounded and stepped shapes. On the exterior, attached to the beams with rafter-like structures, is a symmetrical array of layered geometric and organic forms with a central salmon pink medallion. The bottom of the box features a similar design to the top, with colorful, symmetric forms and a central tan medallion. The box rests on four legs, each carved with stepped and rounded shapes. The sides and back of the box are tan and feature additional support structures.
