DescriptionErnie Pyle pours tobacco into rolling paper to roll a cigarette while standing with his wife, Geraldine "Jerry" Pyle and an unidentified man. They are standing in front of the Pyle home at 700 South Girard Boulevard in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The unidentified man and Ernie Pyle both have cigarettes in their mouths and Jerry holds one between her fingers. Ernie is rolling another. Jerry is looking toward Ernie, who is looking at his hands. The unidentified man is also looking at Ernie's hands. They are all wearing long sleeves, the two men wear brimmed hats. Jerry wears a striped dress. The photograph has been torn into several pieces and taped back together.
