DescriptionIn a grass field lays a herd of cows. They vary from black, brown, white, or mixes of the three. Some are seen sitting down and others across the stream are standing eating grass or drinking water. This stream is behind the cows sitting. It is small, but it's visible from the left side of the photograph and disappears away towards the center left of the photo because of bushes in the grass. There are also pine covered mountains on both sides of the frame. Surrounding this grass field is a wire fence separating the cows and where the mountains start. Inside the fence and right next to it, is a small shack with just a window and door. There are two handwritten inscriptions on the bottom margin of the photograph "Milner Studio" on the right and the title of the photograph "Eventide" on the left.
