DescriptionSusan Cobb Bryer poses in the Cobb Studio for a full body portrait in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She stands on a light-colored rug in front of a white wall. She is dressed in a dark outfit composed of a large picture hat with decor at the crown, dark fur neck cuff, long jacket with large buttons down the center and long sleeves, long unpleated skirt, leather boots and holds both hands in a fur muffler. Her hair is pulled away from the face, she looks to the side while standing at an angle.

Emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate causing distortion and emulsion loss.

Susan Cobb Bryer was the second of Eddie Ross Cobb and William Cobb's four children. They owned a local photography studio spanning the turn of the nineteenth century on Gold Avenue in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. Susan was also a grand-daughter of Governor Edmund G. Ross.
