DescriptionThis fetish necklace is composed of three-beaded canvases with a silver clasp assembly composed of an S-hook clasp. Each strand is beaded with multicolored shell, disk shaped beads of cream, white, and tan. Between each cluster of these shell beads are stone carved bird fetishes in turquoise, jet (black), and a coral and rose striated stone. Warren Ondelacy (Zuni) won first place at the Gallup Inter-Tribal Ceremonial in 1950. The fetish beads increase in size as they move from the yoke to focal point. Tied to the clasp assembly is a blue award ribbon with gold text.On View
