DescriptionA bridal party portrait of the Ross sisters for Evelyn (Evie) Ross Elder's wedding to Edmund Elder. From left: Elizabeth (Betsy) Ross, Evelyn (Evie) Ross Elder, and Jean Ross in front of a curtained window at their home at 718 North Third Street in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Betsy is wearing a ruffled dress with a scoop neckline and tiers of ruffles. Evie is wearing a short-sleeved, floor-length bridal gown with a long, lace veil attached to a lace headband. The gown has small buttons down the front. She is holding a large floral bouquet with ribbons. Jean is wearing a V-neck, short-sleeved dress. Betsy and Jean are both holding smaller bouquets than their sister. All three sisters have their dark hair styled away from their faces. Betsy and Jean are seated on either side of Evie, who is standing. Evie looks toward the right of the frame, Jean looks toward Betsy, and Betsy looks toward the lower right.
