DescriptionA landscape of the Grand Canyon looking west from Mystic Springs, Williams, Arizona. The photograph was taken from a high vantage point, capturing an expanse of mesas, ravens, and a valley with a river far below, curving around the base of rock formations. Silver mirroring and emulsion deterioration is occurring on the glass plate creating color distortion and emulsion loss.
