DescriptionThis image depicts the exterior of the Simms House at 4803 Rio Grande Boulevard in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The building makes up three fourths of a square with a swimming pool in the center. Only the insides of the right and center portions of the square are visible. Both sections have light colored support pillars located in front of their porch areas. The fourth pillar from the right, on the right side of the building, has a light-colored life preserver ring hanging on it. The porch area on this side of the building has light colored chairs, a large sofa, and a few metal tables dotted around it. The center portion of the building's porch area is heavily shaded and very few details can be made out. Large windows are partially visible under the porch on this side of the building. All three sections are made of a light-colored stucco material. A gravel road can be seen running in front of the building near the bottom of the frame in the foreground. This building is now known as La Quinta on the Los Poblanos property.
