DescriptionThis image depicts a view of electric transmission lines near Paseo del Norte in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The transmission lines stretch into the background from the foreground. The lines are connected by tall wooden towers. In the foreground below the towers is a large newly plowed field. Rows of plowed earth can be seen stretching away from the camera. Beyond the field is the Public Service Company of New Mexico’s Reeves Generating Station on Paseo del Norte. This station is producing large light-colored clouds of steam. Several homes can be seen on the right side of the frame separated from the field by a wire fence. In the far background a large portion of the Sandia Mountains is visible.
