DescriptionThis image depicts a woman participating in the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration at the Marigold Parade in the South Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The woman is holding a large pink umbrella over her head. Her face and neck have been painted to resemble a skeleton. She is wearing a black sleeveless dress. Several wooden skewers can be seen sticking out of her pinkish purplish hair. Each stick has a fake orange monarch butterfly on it. Finally, the woman is wearing one glove on her right hand which resembles a skeleton hand.On View
